Regression test plan

EPG

• Empty, current, seven-day and 30-day datasets; simulated rows older than cutoff; time-zone/DST and explicit millisecond-unit tests.
• Verify current/future EPG, Now/Next, guide, channel change, refresh, search, favorites, reminders, manual/event recordings and series metadata.
• Cleanup twice (idempotence), while DB locked, during acquisition, at low space, and with injected power loss between batches/commit.
• 2.000-row batching, endtime-index plan, lock duration and auto-vacuum writes.
• Daily measurements for 30 days: DB bytes, pages, rows, oldest/newest; historical data never exceeds policy plus one batch.

GEL

• 1/100/10.000 service intents and 60-second alarms; reboot during enqueue and worker execution.
• WorkSpec/dependency counts, maximum chain depth, oldest completion, DB/WAL size, enqueue-to-run latency and pruneWork behavior.
• Idempotent coalescing and guaranteed delivery of classified non-idempotent events; no backlog after network/service outage.

USB free space

• Public VFAT and private adopted ext4; DMRemote property old/new name, ready=1/0/missing; service exception.
• Mounted, genuinely full, read-only, removed during query, reinserted with new path, >2-GiB values. Compare long-byte result to StatFs/df.

Storage monitor

• Just above/below Android and OEM thresholds; fill/reclaim cycles verify hysteresis and notification dismissal.
• adopted present/missing/full, but internal /data independently full/free.
• eMMC lifetime buckets and PRE_EOL independently represented; no capacity false positive solely from health data.

Selective adopted EPG

• Cold boot with USB present, absent, slow, corrupt and removed during write; vold delayed; user unlock; factory reset; OTA; UUID replacement.
• SELinux enforcing throughout; correct owner/label; no path traversal; SQLite integrity and locking across all fallback transitions.

Phase-5 repair acceptance

Software gates: ADB/network alive, Android volumes NORMAL, Channels/EPGData/ PlayTV/TVInput running, DB integrity OK, no SQLite exception/crashloop, 358 channel mirrors and 203 mappings retained. Visual gates are listed in diagnostics/phase5/epg-repair.md and require the owner.
